KNOCK COTTAGE SPECIAL OPENINGS

Knock Cottage has a six-acre garden based around a small lochan with a wealth of shrubs, interesting trees and over 80 species of rhododendron.
The garden developed from the 1960's. Based on a small waterfall and lochan it now has a wonderful variety of rhododendron and hybrids, azaleas, eucryphia, embothrium and many other shrubs and small flowering trees. The garden also has an interesting number of prunus ,acers, alnus and eucalyptus. Among the conifers a Wollemi Pine and
Metasquoia Glyptosroboides. A good selection of bulbs also flower during the year, snowdrops, a field of daffodils then bluebells and a variety of lillies. The garden is damp so good footwear is recommended.
