ASCOG HALL FERNERY AND GARDEN OPEN FOR SCOTTISH RHODODENDRON FESTIVAL

1st April - 31st May | 10.00 - 5.00 pm every day

The sunken “Crown of Gold” Victorian Fernery at Ascog Hall, one of the Glorious Gardens of Argyll and Bute, contains Britain’s oldest known exotic fern.

During the festival Ascog Hall Garden and Fernery will be highlighting a number of Chilean plants and trees in Scotland (including the 170 year old Monkey Puzzle). This, together with the plant hunter trail permanent exhibition, will ensure an interesting and enjoyable visit to the garden. Garden and Fernery tours are planned during the festival starting at 11am.
